How to Post Voice Messages to Your Social Networks
Hello there. I’m Stacey Reed and in this Butterscotch video, we’re going to take a look at some cool services that let you post voice messages to social networking sites like Twitter or your blog.
We’ll start with Twitsay.com. It’s easy enough to get an account set up, just provide your Twitter username and password and then enter your phone number. Next, you’re going to call your regional Twitsay number and they have numbers available for Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, France and the US.
Once you’re connected just leave a voice message and it’s as easy as that. Now your followers can go to your Twitter page and listen to your voice message. The Twitter phone has another site that does pretty much the same thing. However, you must first request an invitation code since they’re presently still in beta at the time of this recording and then there’s mySay.com which is similar and that you still need to set up your account and dial their access number to leave your message but the difference slides in the mySay widget and they will provide you with a little snippet of code that you can embedded into your own webpage like your Blog, MySpace profile or another social network.
The widget is customizable. You can change the color or the text. You can link to a photo or even embed a video and what’s cool about it is that you can allow people to add comments or voice messages for you in return with the edit capability of blocking users that bother you as well. Then you can leave voice messages for your friends who have mySay message boxes too and better yet you don’t even have to use your phone to add a message. mySay lets you upload MP3 audio files or text to speech. So there you have it. These are just a few of the ways that you can integrate voice messaging into your social networking clients. This is Stacey Reed with Butterscotch signing out. Bye for now.
