Shadow Boxing; You need to know how to move using your technique, not just stay in front of the back, and punch, you have to learn how to move. Get in and out, duck and punch, block and punch and use your kicks and punch in the right timing in the right distance. So do multiple punches to combinations and again, you need to go in, out, duck, move aside and kick and punch at the same time. Don’t rush; don’t try to speed it up. Sometimes you can explode going forward to a 1, 2, 3 punches but also learn to get back, moving back this punches, moving forward this punches, duck, moving aside and do punches also combine, punches and kicks and keep the motion. So don’t break the flow.
Also see, when you can’t imagine somebody’s attacking, you’re stepping back, use your punches. Imagine you and your opponents so, also you work for your footwork, so moving around, punching and kicks at the same time.
So when you do shadow boxing, there is no resistance. So you can go, run house. For example, if you miss, on the back if you’re working the back, this will stop you, but see in the real situation, you kick on your knees. If you generally do it in the air, you kind of get confused and the opponent jump right on you. So you have to be ready and confident, if you’re missing kick, so you need to just spin around, get back in position and keep fighting. But again, don’t rush, try to keep the flow and repeat. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 just try to count and again, you keep the same repeat, kicks, punches, blocks, movements and footwork. Good luck!
