Speaker: As you get to the top of the hill, there is the end of the cowpath, you have another maybe 50 meters or so, then you get to this point. Because you’ll start some traffic from the Henry Hudson Parkway and this bridge will take you over the top of the parkway and into the back hill or back wood section. From the time that you get here and when you made the loop in the back hills to here again, you’ll have gone little over 2000 more meters or maybe a mile and a quarter in the back hill.
Well this is a pretty difficult section of the back hills or the back woods. You can see we have a sharp down hill, another uphill right afterwards, so that’s very, very difficult. I don’t know if it's possible to remember every up and every down the whole way. I think what's important is at every moment, you just keep thinking should I be charging this hill, should I be trying to move up. Keep your focus, keep your concentration.
Watch out for those rail road types. They come very off along the way, so you want to be able to keep your line of sight and there are some very steep downed hills later on that you’ll also want to have to look at ahead of time and be ready to manage the best you can. So about a mile and a quarter here on the back woods, and all of it up and down, twisting, turning, a real roller coaster of a stretch. Lots of fun and keep your concentration.
There are a lot of hills but no long hills in the back wood section; you can probably charge these hills aggressively knowing a downhill will follow immediately on its heels.
