How to Prepare a Durian

Today, I'm going to show you how to open a durian. In Thailand, it’s known as the king of fruit. They said it has a taste from heaven and a smell from hell. The fruit itself look like small golden pillows and it has a sweet custody taste to them. If you buy the whole fruit, it will look like a big spiky ball. Durian had the taste that either you’ll love or you’ll hate. Some people get sick when they smell them but they love it. You may be able to find this fruit at Asian fruit store. It’s very expensive but very good. If you want to pick a good durian, first thing you need to do is smell it. This one be hard to miss because the bright durian has a very strong smell. In fact it so strong that they often ban Durian from hotels and public transport just like smoking. Second thing is the sound. A good durian, it has a slightly hollow sound when you hit it. Opening a Durian is a little dangerous. The fruit food is hard to chop so you need to be careful. So, I’m going to wear the glove. You want to cut around the lope of the Durian. And then peel the skin back because this is where the fruit is and then simply tag the fruit out and eat it. This fruit also has a good shell and you want to store it in a Ziploc bag otherwise, the smell will get into all the other food. The fruit is rich and creamy and tastes like nothing else.
