Hey guys, thanks for checking out watchmojo.com. This is Perla and I am going to be telling you the top ten things you need to do or know before your first class. Number 10, register for your courses. Obviously, it is good to do it ahead of time as soon as registration dates open. That way, later on you can change it up, drop courses, change them if you want to. Number nine, good idea to check out your campuses or at least know the locations of your classes. The last thing you want is to be late for your classes the first week of school. Number eight, shop for some new clothes if you need them; a lot of people think buying clothes if you do not really need them is unnecessary especially if you do not have a lot of money on you, but if you are uncomfortable or nervous about the new school you are starting particularly if you are an undergrad, think of ways to boost confidence. Number seven, check out all the services in the school that are offered to you, all the clubs available to you that you can join in the school year, it is a good way to know about libraries, the gyms and there a lot of clubs that you can join because it gives you a chance to get involved in the student life. Number six, get your ID card as soon as you can. That way, you can learn about what you can do with it, what you can use and take advantage of from the school. It is also a good idea to go early on before the school year even starts. That way, you avoid all the line ups. Number five, get your books as well. Know about all the books that you need and get them second hand if you can. It does save you quite a bit of money and it is useful for you in the end. Number four, sign up for a locker. Once you have all your books, the last thing you want is to be lugging them around with you all day especially if you have one class after another and you do not want to be taking busses back and forth with everything in your bags, so a locker is a good place to put everything. Number three, pay the fees before the deadline that way you do not have to worry about it once September comes around and you are wondering when the deadline is or if you have too many other things to manage because it is a new school year and maybe you are not accustomed to things. Number two, make sure you know how to get there, whether you are taking public transportation or taking the car and make sure you know how long it takes from you physically leaving the house until you physically get into the classroom and it is really important with public transportation because you never know how long busses and metros will take and for cars, make sure you know where the parking spaces will be available to you and number one on my list is obviously get a good night sleep and your mom told you before when you are going out, have your breakfast in the morning. It will help you be ready for class. This has been Perla, thanks for checking out watchmojo.com, catch you later.
