How to Prepare to Give a Massage
On behalf of TvLesson.com my name is Melisa Brown, licensed Massage Therapist. You can find me at UNeedamassage.us.
We’re going to talk a little about putting together massage. You need a good light. You don’t want it to be too lit up. You don’t want it to be too dark because you can’t see where you’re going. You want to have the good music and nothing that’s attacking. You want to have maybe music that doesn’t have anybody singing just maybe something instrumental. Some good candles that isn’t too strong because that can be very intimidating. It could be make you very excited or very sleepy at the same time.
It’s got to be very soothing, no telephones, no machines, no things flying with things flying over, cars coming by something to—nothing too loud just something very tranquil where both of you can be at ease when you’re giving and when you’re receiving a massage is something that you definitely need to have that quiet time together. It’s a very wonderful bonding experience too.
You also want to have in mind that you have to leave all your problems at the door. Whatever problems that you have with you, whatever worries that you’re having with your mind for both the giver and the receiver, you have to be at peace. Any problems or any tension that you might be having, they have to be left at the door when you come in. You have to come in to the table as a whole, not only as a person standing and giving the massage but also the person that’s receiving.
You have to try and forget about every dingle worry, try. I know we can’t but, try to bring that peace with you because that’s what you’re going to leave with. You’re going to leave more of a whole person. You also want to have that nice bonding experience when you do leave. You don’t want to have anything that’s too electrifying at the same time.
