Host: What is the role of sleep apnea in diabetes Type 2 that comes from AT?
Dr. Carolyn Dean: Sleep apnea, I think, this is related to sort of the obesity factor, the overweight, pressure on the lungs, and sinuses from congestion, I think it's yeast overgrowth, yeast inflammation, and allergies, and the whole picture from -- kind of being drugged. A person is toxic and feeling almost drugged at night, the fatigue a person has during the day is their toxicity, but at night, it gets in the way of their breathing. I know that it's not a very scientific explanation, but I see people reversing those symptoms when they start dealing with their yeast inflammation, cutting back on their sugars, and getting more energy from their diet and from their supplements.
