Carrie Webb: Ginger said—
Robbie Ferguson: Hi Ginger.
Carrie Webb: “I was wondering if you could tell me how to delete history for Google in Internet Explorer?” That’s one question, “Also, is there a way to delete search history so it never records it?
Robbie Ferguson: Okay.
Carrie Webb: Just so whenever relatives visit and you're Youtubing such that they can't see every little embarrassing thing that you’ve search for that’s why he would like that information.
Robbie Ferguson: Okay, in Internet Explorer click on tools and then internet options and then you'll be able to go into your content tab under there go auto complete and then click on settings and uncheck all of the boxes that are there. That’s going to stop it from recording history in the future and then go to the general tab and delete all. That’s going to clear the existing history and from now on from that point you’re not going to have that collecting there.
But another thing you might want to try is also just set up a guest user account on your computer because it is really handy as you know to have Google remember your search queries because you may want to search for the same stuff again or you might close a browser window and realize well, I want that website back and I didn’t add it to my favorites, so instead you could create just a guest account on that computer. Give it limited access and only bring up that guest account just before your company comes over. Just log out of you current account, log in as the new user and then they’ll be able to log in and they’ll just see the history that is for that account. They won't see your personal history. That’s another options for you as well.
