How to Promote your Blog to the Search Engines
Hi, there. Julian from Easily and today I’m going to show you a really quick and easy way to promote your blog. So, we’ve got our blog here at Easily.co.uk official blog and what I’m going to do is I’m going to go across to a website called Ping-O-Matic.com and what does it do?
So Ping-O-Matic is a service that allows you to Ping the search engine so you don’t have to Ping-O-Matic for the service to update different search engines that your blog has updated. So you go to a few main sections here on the site. You’ve got the blog name which we went in here. We’ve got the blog home page which we also went it and the optional RSS feeds which is taking there as well. Let me give you a whole of service that you can Ping. I’ve checked them all. You do that if you have got you all the other blog specialized and so on and then you can use some of the specialized services otherwise, you scroll down to the bottom of the page and you let it to be click, send Pings and the Ping would do this thing and then he says Ping is complete and you have the option to Bookmark this page and come back to it later for ripping but as you can see we’ve got on the page Pings have been sent to a number of different blog aggregate as in blog search engines then and it’s really a simple as that.
So there are other services available which I found since you can have a look really quick based on this Pingoat. It does a very similar thing. There is PingIn, again very similar, and Pingler, similar type service. There so Pingler will gives you a list of different blog search engines. In here you can see that we all have Blog Ping very, very similar to Ping-O-Matic and will allow you to find more. I just did a search Google for Blog and Ping and it brought up all of those results.
I add you to test them. Some of these services may work some of them don’t then the one I tested that I know where it’s Ping-O-Matic. So thank you for taking the time to watch the video.
