What are the other options? I was told to find growth that had darker wood transitioning intogreen wood. Work your way back from the green wood until you had about 2" of dark wood, then make your cut. Dip the dark wood into a plant starter and bury in a seed starting soil, being careful not to disturb the solution. It was recommended to stick a pencil in the seed starting mix to make a hole to place the cutting in and then gently pushing the mix around the cutting. I am not sure where to make the cuts, a video would be great.
