Thank you for your video. I'm new to growing Apple trees and just purchased a home with three exsisting apple trees that have not been pruned in years. Your video is a big help and has taught me a lot. Keep up the good work.

I'm really grateful for these videos, which are so expert. I am a total novice and have made some serious mistakes trying to follow my books on the subject. However, it is such a shame that all of the crucial close ups are out of focus. I now know the difference between the potential new growth bud and the fruiting buds because of the descriptions John gave. Thank you for the guidance but if you get a chance to use a tripod for close ups and edit these into the video it would be a permanent and invaluable resource for any beginner.
