We have tons of rhodies in our yard which have rarely been pruned, thus we have "sticks" with foliage at the top. If there is not a new growth like you showed, can I still cut the branch off to allow growth? I'd surely appreciate a response. THank you, janet Shoreline, WA.

Great help. Thanks! Might you have ever done a video on how to deal with plants that are leggy and overgrown - particularly rhododendrons - and how hard you can cut them back to make them bushy again? On an older property we purchased, there are at least two that are 8' tall with leaves only at the very top. Cheers!
