There are going to be plays in our offense where we have some of our offensive linemen actually pull which means they are going to get in their stance, they are going to pull behind the line of scrimmage and they are either going to kick out a blocker, they are going to pass block out there on a boot or they are going to log block a defender or turn up and actually look to seal off linebackers.
We are going to have our offensive linemen here pull to the right. There are some techniques involved in pulling. We want the linemen to stay low. We want him to have some right arm if he is going to right to put his body around and then he is going to basically run behind the line of scrimmage nice and low. Real good footwork here. Real good low attack angle using his upper body to rotate himself so he can attack the person he is blocking. Let us see if he can do that right here with a pull to the right.
Set. Go. Good job right there by our pulling guard kicking out someone to the right. Let us do it one more time. We will do it in slow motion one more time to take a look at that first pull step. Let us just go back to one step Lane where you pull you right arm out of there and show everybody your first step on the pull action. Set, go. Perfect. Pulls his body around. He has a good track running stance and then he is going to run and attack his blocker. Let us go from the top Lane. Full speed pull to the right, set, go. Great job right there.
