Tom Stocking: Rich and pretty driving experience gives you the opportunity to drive a stock car on a race track, 155 miles and hours as fast you want. Like 25 tracks nationwide, we've been to four other countries England, Germany, Canada, and Australia, it's a thrill of a lifetime. We probably out may be 45,000 drivers will probably see about 8000 women. Best advantage that women have over man is they don't have testosterone, so they tend to be better drivers on the race track because they pay attention they understand what's going on.
Amy: What's the fastest that you've ever driven.
Tom Stocking: I've driven about a 170 miles an hour in Texas and about a 135 in Phoenix but it's a small flat one mile track, so that's pretty fast on a short track.
Amy: So what do we do to get started?
Tom Stocking: Now, we are going to go inside we are going to get your suit, some real shoes, put you through some instructions, you know how to behave in the race car and the race track at speed. We are going to get it done, you ready to go?
Amy: I'm ready to go.
Tom Stocking: Now its time to go put your big girl pants Amy, let's go.
Amy: All right let's rock.
Tom Stocking: Okay, Amy here is your name tag, your official NASCAR license ready to go.
Amy: Yes.
Tom Stocking: We have a gate stick, this is actually going to identify you should anything happen, just kidding its actually your in car video identifier. So I'm going to bring you inside, I'm going introduce to the crew chief Ricky and he is going to you all your instruction, I'm going to meet John Petro. You ready?
Amy: Yeah.
Tom Stocking: Let's go.
Richard Schneeweis: Here we go, well what you guys do is follow the instructor, you're going to be in car by yourselves. We are going to off the pit road today using 2500 RPMs. Ease of the throttle coming to this trend nice and smooth, you know like those big boys do every Sunday. Then in for today, keep the two hands on the steering wheel at all times. Stay on instructors car tracks that's where we are going to get that speed from that's what were we going to get fast. As long as you guys sure you can handle that race car, put you guys down to speed.
Amy: Okay.
Tom Stocking: All right we're going to get you in the car now.
Amy: All right.
Tom Stocking: Very simple want you to start with your right foot.
Amy: Dukes of Hazard style.
Tom Stocking: Yeah Dizzy Duke, you got it. Imagine wearing the shorts all right.
Amy: That's right
Tom Stocking: Okay watch the steering column in all right.
Amy: All right.
Tom Stocking: Check the shoulder and there you go. All right just like the pro.
Amy: I did it.
Tom Stocking: You did it. I give that a tuck Amy, to make sure it doesn't come off right.
Richard Schneeweis: All right Amy you ready to go?
Amy: Ready.
Richard Schneeweis: All right that's Tom over in a car, he is coming up now.
Amy: Okay, let's go.
Richard Schneeweis: All right Amy
