Hey guys, iPod touch 2G geek here and in this view, I’m going to show you how you can reboot your jail broken iPod Touch Second Generation. You could tell that it’s a second generation by the volume rocker curved back chrome bezeling so it’s already turned off alright, non-responsive, you know, nothing’s happening so to get it to reboot, you’re going to want to put it into DFU Mode.
Alright to do this, you are going to hold the Power and the Home button for 10 seconds and then release the Power button and continue holding the Home button for about eight seconds alright. So, go ahead and do this 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, alright then you can release and just set your iPod inside and if iTune does not pop up automatically, I want you to open iTunes alright. This is just to make sure that your iPod is in DFU mode, alright. So, let it open. Give it a few seconds to recognize your iPod alright. And it will say iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode you must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes, just exit this and make sure you exit the iTunes alright.
Now, you’re going to download this program called One Click Boot alright. I’m going to put a link to download this in the video description and so you’re going to open it and you should get six files. You should get a Files folder, Source folder, the One Click Boot program, the DFU helper log and then the Read Me File which you don’t have to read. It’s just giving you instructions, alright. So, before you do this though, you should already have USB installed from the jailbreak process alright so you shouldn’t have to worry about that. Remember, if you’re on Vista or Windows 7 like I am running compatibility mode for windows XP, okay.
So now, I’ll show you my iPod still in DFU mode alright and just turn that down. Okay now, watch my iPod in the screen. I’m going to open One Click Boot and then you are going to click Run alright, now watch. You don’t have to do anything. Apple logo already appears rebooting, that easy alright. I’m going to pause the video here and I’m going to come back once my iPod is fully booted alright. Alright guys, so my iPod has booted and there you go. Let me lower the brightness for you. There you go, alright. Thanks for watching, rate, comment and subscribe.
