How to record a voice memo on your iPhone?
Michael Callahan: Hi this is Mike Callahan, Dr. File Finder and welcome to your butterscotch.com tutorial on how to record a voice memos on your iPhone. So just navigate to your voice memo icon. You see there is a microphone, now at the bottom you will note a VU meter, you can see that the needle is responding to the sound of my voice, now I'll try to keep it out of the red area. Now the red button on the left is record, so if you tap that we start recording you see that it turns to a different button and at the top it's showing you how long the recording is going on.
So you can get an idea of how long your recording is. Now if you tap the red button again you are in the sense pausing, you'll note at the top says it says recording paused at 16 seconds, tap the red button and now the corner has started backup and we are continuing our recording. When you are finished with your recording you tap the black button and your recording is completed.
Now you see the button on the right has changed if you tap the screen comes up, there is our recording 26 seconds. It will playback so that you can hear it down along the bottom you can tap share to email it or send it by text message or you can delete it, when you are done just click done. And that's all there is to it.
