Recover lost web images skill level intermediate.
Tom Merritt: Do you ever wish you saved a picture you saw in the web, maybe its an embarrassing Facebook photo or a sneak peak at a gadget that was later removed. If it has it been too long since you visited the page, chances are you can still find the picture in your web browser cache.
Here's how to access the cache in Firefox and internet explore. You need to find the location of your browsers cache, in Firefox type about colon cache in a address bar, look under disk cache device, that's the folder path with the cache is. Now either copy that path or navigate to it in windows explore or if you are using OS10 in finder. In the internet explore, you're going to want to go to tools, choose internet options, select the general tab under browsing history press the settings button, press view files and IE launch the cache folder in a explorer window.
In either Firefox or IE you will notice the files have no extensions you identifiable names, so you'll have to open each one separately to see what it is. For other browsers you'd follow a similar process of identifying where the cache file is and then navigating to it on your hard drive.
Now use those recovered files for a worthy purposes like blackmailing friends. I'm Tom Merritt cent.com.
