Hi stampers! In a small effort to go green, reduce, recycle, reuse. I am going to take this old TickTack box. That is not that old actually, I bought it and then one day they were gone because they are addicting. But I cleaned it all out. I washed it up. I have used the glue gun to get the stickers off and I cannot really do anything about that little expiration. I tried to take it up with the dry erase sponge but that did not work either. But, I think they will still appreciate it.
So, I have a workshop coming up and I though I would do a little host gift for her. So, I got a bunch of this fun buttons. These are stamping up buttons. These are the fresh favorites and they have gotten navy, and celery, and turquoise and apricot. So, I am going to take this off and they are going right in the container. So, this is about a half of the box of our buttons. Now, we need to make this a little more pretty to get to hers. I am going to take this lid off. This is some of our new celery designer prints. I am going to use that polka dotted side. And starting from the back, I am going to wrap this around. I cut it just to the right size. You want to wrap it tight and not have a lot of overhung because it still has to fit back in the container. Here we go. It should be a snug fit. Now, using the colors that are on the buttons, I am going to make a little turquoise belly bend. Start here and work my way around. Actually, I am going to make it, I am going to glue it on there instead of making it a belly bend. I changed my mind. But, maybe if I do that she will be encouraged to give it away to somebody else too.
Okay, next I am going to make a little frame. I am going to use this stamp from the Cute and Curly which I love. This is so great with her matching punch. I am going to stamp in navy and use the new Cute and Curly punch, Curly label punch. I am going to use this butterfly from Flight of the Butterfly. I am going to stamp that in apricot. Appeal and then I am going to cut him out and I am going to mount him to the label so it looks like this. Hard to see but there is little glitter on the wings too. Got a couple of sticky glue dots on the back, and there is my little thank you gift for my hostess. I think she will love getting the buttons and yes, you can still pour them out. So, we will see you next time while I try and figure out another way to go green with our stamping. Bye!
