Mark McGraw: When finished off the refrigerator area, we decided to build the really nice cabinet surrounding it. It gives us a nice clean look and gives us some extra stored space.
Jeff Devlin: Alright boys, this is the combination of all that hard work for refinishing this cabinet doors, so why don't we build up. Alright guys, I will level that one up, should be good.
Lauren Lake: Hey guys, I got the hardware, alright and walla! This kitchen is used to be disfunctional and disconnected. Now it's the cool cozy coffee shop perfect for Mark and Erinn to enjoy, and it's open all night.
Erinn Quinlan: No longer a cramped and outdated space, this kitchen is now one flowing cohesive stylish space perfect for Mark and Erinn. We stayed within our budget of $20,000-$30,000. The grand total of $25,000 went towards, black granite countertops, slick black appliances, a beautiful porcelain tile floor, a gorgeous glass tile backslash, tons of new lighting, additional cabinetry, a custom unique seating area, and of course all that labor.
Lauren Lake: The overall design concept with this kitchen was the modern coffee shop theme that incorporated the breakfast nook and kitchen area into one, and would be a great place to cook, entertain, or just enjoy a meal.
Erinn Quinlan: Welcome to our new kitchen.
Mark Quinlan: We can actually make it through the doorway without banging elbows on our refrigerator.
Erinn Quinlan: Our refrigerator used to be -- we now have this gorgeous cooking area, it's also its also updated. I love it.
Mark Quinlan: What are we featuring here, I mean completely exceeded my expectations. I would say this is my favorite part of the kitchen.
Erinn Quinlan: I love it, it's gorgeous but I -- my favorite part I have to say is the dishwasher. So, I don't have to hand-wash all the dishes anymore, although I wouldn't mind it in our new sink which is gorgeous as well.
Mark Quinlan: Erinn, do you remember the evil twins. I can't believe the difference.
Erinn Quinlan: Yeah, the glass tile is very updated and I mean the countertop is gorgeous.
Mark Quinlan: Jeff and Mark told me, you helped out with the backslash and did a great job.
Erinn Quinlan: I basically walked them through it.
Mark Quinlan: And I love these cabinets. I can't believe these are old cabinets.
Erinn Quinlan: I know, they did a great job refinishing them and the hardware.
Mark Quinlan: We did a great job. Do you remember what used to be here that vinyl flooring? Now we have this beautiful tile floor that lightens up the whole room, I love it.
Erinn Quinlan: And I love this accent tile that really brings the room together.
Mark Quinlan: By opening this archway up just by squaring it off a tiny bit, I think it opens up these two rooms to be one. We have a breakfast nook, we can actually eat in.
Erinn Quinlan: I know
Mark Quinlan: You guys did a great job taking this out.
Erinn Quinlan: Yeah, I love it, it's just so different, this is ours, I love it.
Mark Quinlan: I agree.
Erinn Quinlan: How about the new space for the refrigerator? I mean it's absolutely perfect compared to the entrance way where it knocked into people.
Mark Quinlan: I agree, it actually looks like a perfectly built in case for it.
Erinn Quinlan: I really love the color scheme of the whole kitchen. This looks just really blunts in with everything else from the black and white, it's perfect for us.
Mark Quinlan: Well, we finally have the kitchen that we don't have to be embarrassed about.
Erinn Quinlan: We can -- all of our head tie actually and be proud of it, because we helped build this and it looks wonderful.
