Herna: Hi and welcome to watch.mojo.com. I am host Herna and today I will sit down with dream specialist Monica Abdulahad, who is going to tell us why we forget our dreams and give us tip on how to better remember them.
Why do we forget our dreams? Because there are often times when you wake and then 10 minutes later, you forget a pretty much every detail about the dream you just had.
Monica Abdulahad: Yes. There is a big reason you effect there. If you have a pen and paper next year about for example and you write it right when you wake up. The more lucky to remember it because if you keep waiting longer and longer and more things coming to your head you forget it.
Herna: Why would we remember certain of images in our dreams better than others?
Monica Abdulahad: Depending on sort of the value of it. If it is something personal to you, you are more like fit to remember rather that something that does not have so much meaning for say. Let us say you picture yourself in a beautiful field with flowers. If you are by yourself, you probably not going to remember that, but if your dog comes into the picture perhaps then that image will stay with you because your dog, you love them and all these feelings come to you. So it has more personal value.
