Hey! Welcome back to the Mr. Excel Net Cast, I’m Bill Jelen. Basically, we start out with massive amounts of data and say, “How are we going to analyze this?” Well let’s fire up and hit the table, and see if we could solve this problem.
Hey! Welcome back, it’s another Mr. Excel Net Cast. I’m Bill Jelen. Another cool trick this one came from the Power Analyst Boot Camp last week. Paste some data in from the web and of course you get all of these hyperlinks, the hyperlinks everywhere and you could of course right click and say remove hyperlink. But if you have hundreds of them what a nightmare, you can use a trick. Put a one here, copy that one under the clipboard with control C and then choose the range of data and use edit, paste special. Choose multiplies or multiplying all of those hyperlinks by the one on the clipboard, and then behold, it gets rid of the hyperlink. Look at it, just regular text. Now, they’re still formatted like hyperlinks, so you’re going to want to come in and choose normal, to get back to something normal but a great way to actually get rid of all the hyperlinks in one great click.
Thanks for stopping by, we’ll see you next time for another Net Cast from Mr. Excel.
