How to Remove the Bottom and Superdrive in a Macbook Pro 15"

Male Speaker: Bottom Pan, Superdrive and Speaker Assembly Removal. To begin, grab a Phillips-head screwdriver and remove the Phillips-head screws from the bottom pan. Once that's complete, lift up on the bottom pan and pop the bottom pan out of place and then lift up and out to remove. For the Superdrive, remove the two cables from the logic board. Now, remove the three Phillips-head screws from the Superdrive bay.

Now, set the wire that is attached to the Superdrive aside and simply lift the Superdrive up and out to remove. To remove the speaker assembly, remove the four Phillips-head screws attached to the speaker assembly. Once that is complete, now remove the speaker cable attached to the logic board and the speaker assembly should lift up and out.
