How to Remove the Logic Board in a Macbook Pro 15" Unibody

Male speaker: Fan, Logic Board and MagSafe Board Removal. To begin, grab your flat tool and remove the cabling from the logic board. Once that is complete, now grab your Phillips-head screwdriver and remove the three Phillips-head screws from each fan. Once that is complete, simply lift the fans up and out to remove. Once that is complete, now grab your Phillips-head screwdriver and remove the Phillips-head screws from the logic board.

Once that is complete, now gently lift up on the logic board. You will see another cable attached to the underside of the logic board. This will need to be removed in order to lift up on the logic board. You will need to use a little force on this cable, but be extra careful in doing so. Once that is complete, now lift the logic board up and over onto a side and there you will see two final cables that will need to be removed. Once the final cable is removed, simply lift the logic board out. To remove the magsafe board, simply remove the two Phillips-head screws holding the magsafe board in place. Then the magsafe board should lift out.
