Male: You know it’s important to use a good stapler remover. A lot of you out there are
using screw drivers or other sharp implements to dig this staples out where a good
stapler remover will actually save you time and one tear up your fabric or the
wood so bad. And this one here is made by Double Rock and it’s not that bad it
you know masonite is a hardwood to start pulling staples to that. You get this one
and gets on the room, it has a little full compaction there so it levers the staple out
and as you can see that’s not too bad if you get one that’s stock, just take your
side cutter and pull it out. This is a good tool to use when you taking out staples.
Female: The next step of the application is to remove all of the old fabric, deal button
deacon and the both.
Male: Where you’ve done that. But I will let show you the layers that we have here. As
you see it remember where you taking a staples all the cover alright. This is our
sit board and of course we chisel the foam off.
Female: Yup.
Male: This is our foam that when I’m top of the sit board and this is our bonded Dacron
that our polyester that one over the top.
Female: Okay and then your fabric
Male: So there’s our layers right there.
Female: Now do you need to keep, do you need to keep either of this?
Male: No, no absolutely this foam right here is still have pretty good life but—
Female: The stand I think so through it so yeah the liquid went through so I don’t know if I
would you know if that I would keep any of that on or not so I wanted to replace
the whole thing.
Male: Yeah this true places. Now one thing that you will notice here, here the tenants we
talked about it. It connects this to the sit, now when we spray adhesive on here to
glue the foam it’s a good thing to take a piece of masking tape and just see the
holes.
Female: Quite you there was one over those, okay.
Male: In that way the glued hasn’t go down in the threads.
Female: So you can start now can this be replace if you have to replace those and those in
the top to be replace.
Male: This is the time to replace any of the tee knots that are bad on your sit.
Female: Now, those—
Male: You can get them and now you can’t get in and see this is actually the top of the
sit where the tee knot goes and then the vault goes to the whole at the bottom.
Female: And sinks in to that.
Male: Sure, and so what’s happens is that as you screw vault into there, this flat plate up
on top holds it down.
Female: Holds it down, okay. And we can just— you can pull those out found the new one
in and you are ready to go.
Male: Yup.
Female: This would be the great time to do that if you need too. Do we need to keep this
piece of fabric?
Male: No.
Female: Okay.
Male: Okay, what we’re going to do next is we are going to show on how to lay out
there foam.
