Hi! I am Helen from eSpares. In this video, I will be replacing the upper and lower basket wheels on an Electrolux built-in dishwasher. Safety first, always make sure that you disconnect the appliance from the mains before you start working on it. Now you need to know your dishwasher's model number to make sure that you ordered the correct parts for your appliance. This can normally be found on the edge of the door. On this model, it is found here.
So, let's start by removing the basket. The upper basket, you just need to open runner-ends and slide the basket out. The lower basket just lifts out. You will notice on this upper basket, there are two different sets of wheels; this is so that you can adjust the height of it. Now to change the wheels, you will need a screwdriver and you insert the screwdriver between the two clips and this can be bit fiddly and twist, so that the two clips open at the same time and you pull the wheel off.
So, the new one simply clicks into place. The lower basket wheel is changed in exactly the same way. Again, it can be pretty tricky; you insert the screwdriver and twist to open the clips and it just pops off. All the parts you see here are replaceable and are available on the eSpares website, including the drainage channel, the spray arm, the basket itself, the cup-holder inserts and the wheels.
I am just going to slide the basket back in, not forgetting to close the runner-ends. Again, the lower basket is available; as is the most commonly damaged part of the dishwasher, the cutlery basket.
Basket wheels and all dishwasher spares can be find on the eSpares website, along with spares and accessories for over 500 different brands of home and garden appliance. Thanks for watching.
