This video shows you how to dismantle the Microsoft Zune MP3 player.
And the first thing you need to do is remove the bit of plastic at the bottom of the Zune to allow access two small screws. First, these screws need to be removed.
Step 1: Removing Casing and Battery
Once first screws removed, grab a side-pull-axel and run it along the sides of the Microsoft Zune to unclip the clips that holding it together. Once it done, you should just be easily pull it apart.

Once the case has been removed, the next step is to remove the battery. This is how we are going to place, by small a clip simply pull this up and then you will be easily release the cord and take the battery out.
Step 2: Removing the Hard Drive
The next step is to remove this small ribbon, this is done is exactly the same as the battery we have already removed, simply lift up and release. Once done there, there are four screws to remove—two at the top and two at the bottom.

Now screws are removed, you can carefully lift up the hard disk and to remove the ribbons. Do this, unclip the small black clip simply by lifting it up, once released, you should just get it out carefully. Pull out the hard disk ribbon. The hard disk has now removed.
Step 3: Removing the Motherboard and LCD Screen
The next step is to remove the main board or motherboard from the front casing. To do this, we have to remove six more screws.

Once the screws are removed, there are just four small white clips holding the main board to the casing. Simply unclip these to release the main board.

The main board with the LCD Screen has now been removed. Sometimes, during the removal you can actually clip well as shown here, these can simply should be put back in place.
Step 4: Separating the Main Board and LCD Screen
Okay, we now need to remove the LCD screen. There is four more white clips, simply unclip and slowly release the screen. This is too connected to four small ribbons. Once again, simply just lift up the small black clip and carefully pull out the ribbon, releasing the LCD screens from the main board.
