Hi, I’m Don and this is Cooper. We’re from Window Pro. We’ve already talked about a hole repair in the screen, we’ve already re-screen the screen. Now we’re going to talk about replacing weather stripping in a sliding glass door.

For that process, you’re going to need a pair of safety gloves, utility knife and a pair of needle-nose pliers. The reason that we’ll be replacing the weather stripping in your sliding glass door is because it’s either torn or worn out.

The process should start with putting the safety gloves on. You’re going to look at the sliding glass door either from the interior or exterior depending of what type of door you have, that would where the weather stripping is. You’re going to cut the weather stripping at the top to remove it, pull the sliding glass door weather stripping now.

Hopefully, you’ve already re-purchase the replacement weather stripping and what’s you’re going to do then is to push the weather stripping into the sole curve. The weather stripping will probably have barbs on the end of the weather stripping which should push right into the receptor group. And that’s how you repair sliding glass door weather stripping.
