Hey guys, this time I just want to share with you a neat Vista trick, that’s right. I’m now running Windows Vista and this is given by a friend. This is Windows Vista Black 2009 SP1 Edition and I was just playing with it for a while now. I have some cool tips, programs, toys that I may share in the future so we just watch out for those videos. In this video, I’m just going to show you a simple trick and this is my first Vista video and I do hope you like it.
So what if you accidentally delete your recycle bin over here. So let’s say you want to just well empty your recycle bin but you accidentally delete it because in Windows XP you can’t delete your recycle bin but you can do that with Windows Vista. So if we delete, are you sure you want to delete recycle bin. So you can actually restore it if you go to the personalization in control panel.
So we’ll just delete it. And then we’ll go to the personalization window so if you right click, go to personalization and here we are. You can also access this through the control panel and as you can see you can actually find where to do that so where are you going to restore your recycle bin because the option for that is right over here. So it’s under change desktop icons, you click that.
As you can see here you have your desktop icons and the ones that are not checked are not visible on your desktop. So if you want to see your recycle bin again just check your recycle bin, hit apply, hit okay, minimize and here you go. Your recycle bin is back on your desktop. So this is just a very, very simple, very, very easy tip. It’s my first Vista tip for you guys. It’s just a teaser anyway.
As I had said, I’m now on Windows Vista and I’m looking forward to Windows 7 so watch out for those videos too. With regards to Windows XP, I’ll be making videos about Windows XP still but I’ll be using a virtual PC instead and if you have any questions about my videos or the things related just message me here in YouTube and I’ll get to them as soon as I can.
