Susie Coelho: Instead of throwing up the plastic flower pots that come with your plants, put them to good use. Recycle those pots and add beauty to your garden or patio by giving them a fresh new look. All you need a spray paint made specially for plastic, or plastic primer.
Firstly, contemporary look, try a metallic paint. And how about this, you can even turn plastic to stone with specialty spray paints made just for that. One great look is to get three different sizes of pot and paint them three tones of the same color.
Here is the tip, if you can't find the color you want and the paint made specifically for plastic, use a light color of the plastic primer first, then you can use any paint you want. and the best part is you can feel like you are doing your parts of recycle while creating a beautiful outdoor space all at the same time.
