This is how you use DVDx to rip videos from dvds.
Go to the website in the video info section.
How to rip a DVD to an AVI or MPG file using DVDx
Put the DVD in.
Go to DVD root.
Open your DVD and click on the VIDEO_TS file.
Now choose on the file and click on select.
Choose a sweet audio track in the audio section. Don’t forget to click the audio/video synchronise or it may stuff up like Xbox 360. don’t forget to check the website in the video info section.
Now, go to output settings.
Choose an output format like AVI or WMV.
Now choose an audio compression method. Lame mp3 is 1337 if you don’t have to check the website for alternate options.
Choose the XviD video codec in the dropdown menu.
Click “Enable Video”, but leave “Enable 2nd” unchecked.
Choose a screen size for encoding. I did 720x544 because that is YouTube standard.
Now, choose a destination where the movie shall be saved.
Now, pres the red dot. It is encoding.
