How to Run a Yard Sale

All right Clean House fans. Here’s your half minute tip from yard sale diva, Trish Suhr. Niecy: Trisha. Trish Suhr: Yeah! Niecy: I have a lot of books. What’s the best way to display them? Trish Suhr: Well, for me Niecy, organization is obviously the key but category specific is what matters the most and of course, making it fit on the shelf. You may not be able to get them all, size-wise so be creative. Lay some sideways, some straight up, but what’s important is being able to access what you need when you need it. Niecy: Got it! Niecy: What’s the best way to insure when you’re having a yard sale that people don’t have sticky fingers and the things just walk away? Trish Suhr: That’s a great question Niecy. Tip harder, Well, you need to have people help you which is always good. Lots of eyes, mean you’re watching the stuff and then highlighters. I’d like to have people carry one around, marking next on the back of the hand so you know they pay. Everybody gets their own color to ensure you know who paid. Niecy: Got it!
