How to Safeguard Your Sleep
In a bedroom, there is a lot of controversy of what can you hang over the bed. Now, ideally this would have nothing over the bed. But we do have two rectangular pictures here and they are relatively pleasant. They are not disturbing, so won't disturb their sleep. Make sure they are well anchored and if anything you know, make sure that you know that they won’t fall on the sleepers at night and that sort of the fear in Feng Shui is disturbing the sleep and making sure that sleep is very restful.
So ideally, the space should be free. But let us talk about a recent development and that is imagine if we had some a built in shelving that went all the way up or may be we had cabinets that hang down from the ceiling and—say to just the top of that of that light and you would see that their would be —see if I can point to where the—let us say that the shelving, the bottom of the shelving was right here. That would create an arrow, a terrible cutting energy that would right unto that sleeper. And let's say that if there was another cupboard in here, hanging down, that corner would go right into that sleeper as well. And let us say there is a trend now called bed walls where you got like a bed that’s recessed and surrounded completely by storage.
So you have this over the head, over bed storage and you're creating a neck that the bed wall was slide into and it would be surrounded. You see this a lot in children’s bedrooms. Well, what happens is the bottom of that, leading to the spread over the bed, they say in Feng Shui that it acts like a guillotine. You know that energy just is oppressive. We got the sharp arrows falling down. You have got that oppressive energy going down in the sleeper, so very careful about built in storage. It is good to keep storage low and the away from your sleepers. Do not try to hang anything even on the wall that will create a sense of imbalance or a concern.
