Hi! Hey you, do you like movies? You know what I like movies. That's why today is movie day. Like many of you my family love movies. We love movies so much. But we don't want to spend the money that it takes to go to the movie theatre. Well, Tuesday is new release day, so that means we can get a new release on DVD.
Go back to the house, watch it on a flat screen TV. Maybe pop some popcorn, maybe make a pizza. I have got some candy bars laying around. Hey! Let's have a movie day. That's basically how the concept came up for the family movie day that we participate in one day a week.
We pick out a movie that we want to see from the movie rental place or we buy a movie that we want to add to our collection. We make a pizza, we pop our own popcorn, and we have some little candy bars and the kids go nuts.
It's the best day of the whole entire week, if you ask me. I love movie day, and you will too. That is my money saving tip, is instead of going to the movie, create your own movie day at home.
