Home for approximately 1.2 million people that check couple is also extremely compact so you can pack well stay in the short space of time. And other still one of the confidence cheaper capitals at visit here certainly won't break the bike. Now here is the first of those ten things.
Prague is divided into ten different districts. Within these ten districts are separate neighborhoods so like the old town on Mala Strana. Transporting people around the city are free metro lines and then efficient travel. And for the best view on Prague climb to the top of the Petrin Tower which you can find here on Petrin Hill.
As you walk the street of Prague take a look at the architecture because the Czech Republic is a fascinating mixed of Romanesque, Gothic, Iraq and in particular art is work of architecture. The best example of Romanesque is Saint George Basilica in Prague Castle while Saint Nicolas Church in the Old Town Square is one of the cities finest Baroque buildings. Also in the Old Town Square are the church of Our Lady before town and the old town old. Two good examples of Gothic architecture and walking streets you can see arch and bow architecture of smoothly everywhere.
Getting back to the 9th Century and overlooking the entire city is Prague Castle which is with that a shadow good days Prague’s number one tourist attractions. The highlight of the castle is the Gothic Saint Vitus Cathedral. Make sure to go inside to see the cathedral interior and its colorful stain glass windows. Other highlights include the Old Royal Palace and Golden Lane and make sure not to miss the main changing of the guard which takes place daily at noon.
Known locally as Stare Nesto Prague old town as one of the most charming in New York. The focal point of the small area is the Old Town Square which is always posing with people. It’s also full of cafés and restaurants but these are quite expensive and best avoided. And fronting off the square is a series of government streets. One of the most popular things to do in the old town is catch the profession of the twelve apostles, which happens near at the astronomical path every year on here. But after seeing it you might want to know what the posses are about.
If you're looking to avoid the trends check at some of Prague’s lesson on attraction like the German in role which is on this five minutes walks on Charles Bridge. Anti communist activist first started painting on this wall in 1980 although in 1998 it was quite washed but once again today it is a mix of anti war and peace slogans.
Other less visited attractions includes the museum of communism which presents in the count of communism in the Czech Republic. The museum of torture which has a collection of some fairly horrific muddy evil torturing instruments and Camp Island it frankly space just below the west side of Charles Bridge.
Prague is home to two of the Czech Republic most important museums. The first of these is the National Museum which overlooks Wenceslas Square. This huge museum is home to both permanent and temporary exhibitions. The other is the National Gallery on the Old Time Square where you'll find a large collection of paintings from the 19th Century. While the National Galleries main building is on the Old Time Square they actually have permanent exhibitions a different building toward the city. One of these is the Black Madonna hangs here on Oval center and here you will find a collection of Czech Cuba’s America.
Just north of the Old Town and side of river Vltava is the old Jewish neighborhood known as Josefov, its home to bars and restaurants as well as a series of Synagogue. The main attraction in Josefov is the Jewish Museum but unlike other museums owned the collections aren’t contained in the one building instead they spread that in the different Synagogue throughout the area. And also part of the Jewish Museum is the Jewish Cemetery which is over 600 years old.
All over Prague you will see sign and side restaurants just taking that is specialized in traditional Czech food and this usually composes of things such as Goulash, dumplings and lots of meats. And if you're looking for a restaurant that was good traditional Czech food check at this restaurant here it’s called and it’s known which is over in the Malá Strana. They were all typical Czech food such as roast pork, goulash and dumpling.
If you decide to go drinking and one of the bars in the more tours the areas you’ll find to drink as quite expensive instead you need to find a local Czech bar for more reasonable prices. So we’re looking for Czech old but would cheap here and curl line is here, its very confident bar here it’s called a Sudu. Its some body overlooking just off Wenceslas Square and just like no to Czech can serve the local specialty which is absolute. Another Czech bar work noting is a U Vejvodu on Chirsnavicha Street just north of Charles Bridge and downstairs you'll find a traditional beer home.
As you walk in Prague you'll notice lots of advertisements for black like theater. This is a unique type of theater where I just perform in a pitch black theater with florescence customs and crops. One of the best places is to go and Czech at black light theater performance is the value of Antistika which is just a three minutes walk from Charles Bridge. The Prague theater dates back in 1989 and when we visited to show being stage to was the extremely entertaining aspects of us.
