Ellen Damaschino: We all know that baking soda is necessary have in every fridge or freezer but for best result, you need to change the box once a month to keep food tasting fresher longer. So once a year, I buy 24 boxes; 12 for the fridge and 12 for the freezer, and then on every box I write the month that I am going to use it. I put two to work immediately in the fridge and freezer, the rest go in my cabinet. This really saves me time and it keeps my food fresh tasting all year long.
