How to Save on Weddings
Better
Audra: Most memorable weddings aren’t always the most expensive ones.
Jeanette Pavin is here with some Better ways to save out a wedding
celebration to remember.
Jeanette: Saving money on a wedding doesn’t mean skimping on the essentials of a
traditional wedding here’s how to cut cost without anyone noticing. Now
you could save money on flowers for the church reception and the
wedding party by shopping at your local flower market. Market’s are
where your florist buy the flowers they sell to you.
Flower markets a are usually open to the public during certain times of the
day and if you want to go with a professional florist ask if they’ll give you
a better price if they pick the types of flower that they use. Skip the
traditional full menu wedding dinner and it’s price by hiring student from
the local culinary school to cater your event the face are usually 30% less
than a sit down dinner and you could do the same thing with music.
Hire students to play at the wedding and the reception they’ll be excited
about getting a paying job and you’ll get professional musicians.
Photography students also might be able to help out with your wedding
pictures so keep in mind when hiring students you need to make sure you
spell out exactly what you want and make sure you see samples of their
work before you hire them.
