Hello welcome to Chinese learn lessons my name is Lang and today I would like to teach
you one sentence in Chinese and that is “Can I have a cup of tea?” Can I have a cup of
tea in Chinese [Chinese translation]. So this is a request in youtube and I recommend
everybody to send me a request on youtube for the words you want to describe in Chinese
and I can transform them in such mini lessons in time and it’s time to teach you one
sentence in Chinese so [Chinese Translation].
Would you like to grab a pen and a piece of paper and I will go through the pronunciation
of each Chinese characters before I go through the writing of each Chinese characters.
Okay let’s have a look at this sentence [Chinese Sentence]. So the first two characters
[Chinese] means if and fourth character wo means I followed by the next two characters
ebay which e means one and bai means come followed by the next character cha which
means t and the last charter ma which doesn’t have an edge or meaning but it represents a
question so without the ma the sentence become a statement but where’s the ma in the
sentence. You were asking a yes or no question so ku ye gae wo epay cha ma one cup tea
or in English can I have a cup of tea.
That’s fantastic let’s have a look at each Chinese characters for the pronunciation and
then the writing. The firs character is ku which means to approve so you can see that the
pronunciation is ke which k pronounced ku and e prounuce u with su tone then it’s going
from up to dang and then up again it is ku---or in a shorter version ke the next character is
e so you can see that the pronunciation of e is yi, pronounce e and I pronounce e it’s
going from up to down and then up again it is yi or in the sorter version yi so yi means to
use s but ki all together is a single word in Chinese and it means may.
The Su character is gay and you can see that the pronunciation is chei so chei pronounce
ku and ei prounounce a with the su tone that is going from up to dang and then up again.
It is chei. Or in the sorter version chei and chei means if. The next character is wo and yu
can see that wo is more likely a left and right structured character so w omens I and the
pronunciation is wo. So w pronounce and o prounouce o with the su tone there going
from up to dang and then up again. It is wo. Or in the shorter version wo.
The next character is e which means one so you can see that the pronunciation is yi so y
pronounce and I pronounce e which is the first tone day is totally flat. It is yi or in the
shorter version yi and the next character is bai so you can see that bai is more likely a left
and right structure character. Bai means cup. You can see that the pronunciation is bei so
B pronounce ball and ei pronounced a which the first tone there is flat it is bei or in the
sorter version bei.
The next character is cha and you can see that the pronunciation of cha is cha so ch
pronounce ch and a pronounce a with the second tone that is going from down to up. It is
chu a cha, cha chu or in the shorter version cha and chaa means tea. The next character
which is the last one is ma so ma is more likely a left and right structured character and
ma represents a yes or no questions. You can see that the pronunciation of ma is MA and
pronounced ma and a pronounced a which the tongue of no tongue which means you
whisper this character which is ma, ma. Ma.
Okay so far the whole sentence the last time ku ye bae wu bei cha ma, Can I have a cup
of tea. Okay let’s get down to the writing of each Chinese characters.
