How to Seat Your Dinner Guests
In Feng Shui, we often talk how to seat your guest so that they really are getting a maximum benefit from your event. Okay so, how do you do that? Well, first to lineup your seating. Here we got just for seats, so we’re going to have two couples and how they work for individuals or a couple and two individuals. And we are going to look the entrance. The entrance to the apartment is over here down the front foyer or hallway.
So the energy is coming right through the front door and imagine it falling right into the room, nicely softened but these curtains I might add which is great. Curtains and drapes, you can see the curtains on the windows they had a softening influence which superior to other window treatments. This just makes a lovely way to enter the room. It softens tat energy so it doesn’t rush right in. So now you have it, so that you can position this chair which we call that power seat because it is going get before the full branch of the energy right here.
So put your shy guest here in the power seat. That will make them a lot more talkative and how much fun that be to draw people and make them feel comfortable. Now you get the energy coming trough boom right here and it is going to whammy. This person right here, right on the side; that’s not a very auspicious, that’s probably the least wonderful position to be in.
You might want the host to sit there because you know, this is not only convenient to going back and forth from the kitchen to your table. So it is convenient and you're not disrupting the guests that are seated around the table as much, but also you know it is a sort of taking the hit for your guest and this is again the least auspicious place and you're going to be driving a lot of conversation and talk and there is a lot of focus on you anyway. And you'll probably be up and down again to the kitchen.
This position right over here is kind of j\hidden away from where the energy flows, so you can put perhaps your most talkative person right here. And that might tone them down a bit but, at least they’ll be good and this is a nice neutral position. It's actually beneficial because the energy coming in, you're able to see it come in and that hits you partially in the face. So that part is good.
And so this is a pretty nice situation to be in. So, put your most talkative people right here and here. Put yourself to face the least auspicious of the entries and of the entry of the qi and then here in the power seat, place the person who would you like to draw out a bit more because you can benefit from that energy, right directly.
