How to Select With the Selection Tool in Flash CS3

To use the selection tool in Flash to select an object, go ahead and click on it in your Flash toolbox and it’s at the very top, the arrow called selection tool. And then go ahead and you can just click on whatever objects you want to select and it’s as simple as that to select those objects. Now, if you are working in merge drawing mode remember that if you select the shape and you just select the fill or the outline, the other one is not going to be selected. One way that you can select both of them at the same time is to simply click and draw marquee around that shape, unclick and it’s going to go ahead and select everything that was inside of that marquee. So that’s how you select objects in your Flash document by using the selection tool.
