How to Send From another Email Address Using Gmail Hi, this is Rich Brooks from Flyte New Media. We’re a web design and internet marketing company. I love Gmail for small businesses. It’s free. It’s extremely feature rich and it’s got a great spam filters. On top of that I love how when you’re checking your email whether you’re checking from home or from work or from the internet café or you’re checking on your iPhone your email is constantly being sync, but when you’re using Gmail you need to be sure that you’re not sending your emails from your Gmail account. It needs to appear as if it’s coming from your work account. You’re not trying to help Google with this branding you’re trying to help yourself, so let me show you how you’re going to set this up. Go ahead and click on the Settings link at the top of the page, then come down to Accounts, click on that and the first thing you’re going to need to do is add another email address you want, so we’re going to click on that link which brings up a new window. Type in your email address, click on next step and what Gmail is going to need to do is send the verifications, so I’m going ahead and send the verification and then close out of this window and go back to my Inbox. We’re going to click on that link and click on the link within the Gmail. We’re successful. Close that window, back into Settings, back into Accounts. We can now see that the Rich@flyte.biz email address is available. We’re going to go ahead and make that the default email address and we can either choose to always reply from the default address, reply from the same address the message will send to. That’s up to you. I prefer they have all emails come from Rich@flyte.biz. And then when we go to composing new piece of email, you can see that the default email is coming from it’s the Rich@flyte.biz. If for some reason I did want to change it I could just select the other email, that’s all it is. Thanks and have a great day.
