HI stampers! Today I am going to show you why I like Stampin’Up stamp so much. When you get your stamps, they come in separate pieces. You get the rubber, the woodblock, and then the sticker. And normally, you would just go ahead and cut your stamp out, and then mount it on the woodblock but I am going to show you what I like to do with a lot of my stamps. And this is also another must have as the craft and rubber scissors. This cut through the rubber like butter. I am serious. They are so awesome! It is the best money I have ever spent.
But I am going to divide this stamp into two. So I will get more my mileage out of my stamp because then I can use the “You are invited” without the “for, when, and at”, and then I can just use them separately. Use different colors if I want. So that when you are cutting your rubber stamps, you want to cut in straight cuts. Like this. And then when you come up to the edge, you just going to turn, you are not going to go around with the scissors because that is going to undercut the foam, and then your stamp will not stamp correctly. So you just want to always make sure you are making straight cuts. And you want to also cut as close as you can to your image without actually cutting the image of course.
So there is the “You are invited” and then I am just going to stamp—I am just going to cut out the stamp here with the “for, when, and at”. I am cutting as close as I can with the image.

Then I can also cut in if I want to make that a little bit tighter there of the cut, so there is no exposed rubber from the tin can. Okay so then there is that part of that stamp there. Okay, then I also go ahead and cut the sticker part too because this is the part that you are going to know where to line up everything.
So I think I am going to add this stamp to the front of the woodblock and I am going to add this to the side because this is smaller. So what I am going to do is I am just going to peel off the back and then I am going to put “You are invited”, and it is going to be backwards but when I stamp it, it will actually be the right way. So I am just going to line this up on my stamp woodblock here, and then I am just going to flip it over and add the sticker.

Like that and then I am just going to go ahead and mount the “for, when, and at” on the side of my woodblock.

Right there okay. And then I am going to trim this down also.

And put this on the side of my block. Just getting a little extra off there. So then that is on side of my block. I am just going to trim this Stampin’Up here, copyright. I am going to put that on the front. Even though all 99.99% of my stamps are Stampin’Up but still that is nice to have that on there.
All right and then I went ahead and did a few of the other ones that are on the stamp set. Like this one said “Save the day” and then “join us for a celebration”, I did the same thing. And then this one also, I put the “celebrate” on the end just right there. So that is an added bonus from Stampin’Up stamps.
All right! Thank you! We will see you bye!
