How to Set Clip Art as the Slide Background in PowerPoint 2007

If you like you can set clip art to be your slide background. So to do so, go ahead and click the Design tab if necessary, and then click on background styles and then format picture, and from the format picture, the format background dialog box, go ahead and click on a picture or texture fill, and then go ahead in—before it says in front, insert from, click on clip art and then go ahead and you can search a clip art, either just on your computer or also on Office Online to find the clip art that you like, go ahead and select it and then click OK. And then from here you can choose to use the picture as a texture if you want, as a tile texture, and then you have settings, alignment, the mirror type and then your different scales and your offsets. Or you can choose just to have it stretched across and then you can go ahead and change your offsets if you’d like to get the picture exactly stretched across your slide, how you would want it and you can also change the transparency down here to make it a little more washed-out effect. When you're happy with your clip art fill, go ahead and click on apply to all and then on close.
