Ivy: Well, when you think of your local UPS store, you may just think shipping but it’s much more than that it provides business center solutions for your small business or home base business. And with me is Toure Jones, franchisee of a UPS Store.

Toure: No problem.
Ivy: Hey, what is the most common thing a small business owner comes to you with outside of their shipping needs?
Toure: Outside of the shipping needs, it’s more so about the mailbox. A mailbox gives you professionalism and allows you to use our street address without having to pay that downtown rate. And one of the other things is most important is we receive packages from any carrier however, it’s coming we’ll take it. Some of our competitors don’t do the exact same thing.
Ivy: So, if I’ve got a home based business it’s a lot easier to have a location that street address or PO Box at my UPS Store, so that I don’t have to worry about concerns like having a box on my porch or having somebody track me out at home so privacy I guess is a big issue too.
Toure: Yeah, privacy is a very big issue. Having us here all the time, you’re able to reap and run and do all the things you have to do in your day all the while knowing that someone is going to be there to be able to—package when they come in.
Ivy: Another need services as a small business owner I don’t have to stop in the check of my mails here.
Toure: Unless you know.
Ivy: So, talk about the email notifications.
Toure: Yeah, when packages come in we actually scan those packages, inventory those and actually sends you an email to let you know when you have something, but then if you’re expecting regular mails say mail from particular client or something of that sort you can call in also. We can check your mail for you and let you know who you’ve got mail from. We can’t open it, but we can tell you where it came from.
Ivy: Awesome. Anything else we should know about the mailbox services here with the UPS Store?
Toure: You need one.
Ivy: Yeah.
Toure: That’s what you need to know.
