Hi! It's the EX-Bass Guide again, I'd like to show you one of my hot baits that catches some real big fish and it's great for skipping into cover brush, holds under docks, works really well at skipping. It has a horizontal fall. This bait is deadly, I've caught fish up to 9 pounds on it. I caught a lot of fish on this bait. And this is a quick clip and you can tie Mylar to it and have it trail off the back, give your bait a little extra flash. What you do is you take the quick clip that you can get at Bass Pro Shops.
Set the wire loop down inside the tube bait. Squeeze it, shake it down, once you get down to the very end you take your hook, you go through the center. It's very important you go through the center. Then you fish around inside until you grab that loop. What you do, now you've got that weight trapped inside it, it can't come out, and you just turn that hook over, pull the shoulder up.
Now that I won't slide down when you pull it through heavy cover and then you set that hook point inside the tube. Now, you've got a bait that is weightless and that will skip very well. It has a horizontal fall. This bait is an amazing bait, and it has caught me a lot of fish.
I skip it back up into trees, hanging down into the water through the branches way back in the holes, and I'll pull big fish out. With baits like this skipping under docks, this is one of the best. It has a horizontal fall which is a lot like a Senko and it is really awesome. You guys need to try this and tell me what you think. I will see you on YouTube guys.
