Kim: Thank you.
Male: And here is your assignment.
Kim: Alright.
Male: I want you to go and find four items that you would consider very healthy.
Kim: Okay.
Male: And in addition to that, I want you to find one item that you would consider less healthy or unhealthy.
Kim: Okay.
Male: Are you ready to do this?
Kim: I am ready.
Male: Alright, ma’am, go for it.
Kim: Alright let’s go.
I love pasta, oh. I love this stuff, cold meat eating.
I love this Ezekiel Bread, it is so good.
Cereal grains are tough one. I actually like the Weetabix Cereal.
Let see Honey Nut Cheerios. A little bit of vitamins.
Bananas, so 50 calcium, I love them too.
Male: Alright, you guys Kim is back and we are going to see how she did. So, tell me what you got here? Go ahead pull some stuff out of the basket.
Kim: Well, okay. I got my whole grain bread my little sodium, Ezekiel Bread.
Male: Ezekiel Bread, this is one of the very best breads you can get. So, good choice, I am guessing this is your healthy choice.
Kim: That is mine.
Male: Right Ezekiel is very, very good, okay. Excellent. What else do you have?
Kim: Going for my carbs here, I have holy Penne Pasta.
Male: Holy pasta and that is organic which is good and I guest this is another one of your choices here.
Kim: Yes.
Male: Your good choice, I should say. Now, obviously very high on carbs. 42 gram of carbohydrate it does have 5 grams of fiber and only 2 gram of sugar. Here is the other thing to 7 grams of protein that is actually very good. Really good okay good choice. What else do you have here?
Kim: Okay, one of the other good choices which Weetabix.
Male: Weetabix? This is something new to me, tell me about this. What do you know about this?
Kim: Well, I know how I like to eat it.
Male: 4 grams of fiber, 4 grams of protein, 1 gram of fat. Cheerios are better than a lot of others cereals. I am guessing because of the honey nut it has a lot of sugar. Now, whole grain oats is the first ingredient and sugar is the second and oak brand third modified corn starch, honey, brown sugar. So, you made there a correct choice in saying this was less healthy than the other once. However, over all cereal is better than other cereals.
Kim: My potassium.
Male: Banana your potassium, okay, and organically grown. Now, obviously you want to eat organically if possible. However, with a banana because the skin is so thick and it is protected it is not as susceptible to the herbicides and the pesticides as much as berries. However, whenever you can do organic that is important.
Kim: Okay.
Male: Alright, so overall you did very really well and so, now we will go ahead and go through the rest of the store, and fill up your cart you are going to be needing a bigger cart than this one and we will make sure that Kim scored away.
