Alright, hidden files—well for me it was when I first started doing it, in the terminal, it’s pretty easy to tell and see the hidden files and everything. But, when you’re working in another list here, let’s say we go here. We go to, let’s look computer. Let me zoom it a little bit then follow me here. Let’s go, places, computer.
Now, let’s look at the file system and let’s go to—well, let’s just go on our home directory and Chris. And in here, you see that there’s certain number of files folders, what we’ve got here. It shows us 15 items. I know there’s more in there, they’re just hidden. A short hot key that I use is control H and now you see there’s 98 items and you see all these folders with username—or not username, folders with names and start with the period or dot—you make something hidden. You start it off with dot something, so .adobe. Now, when I turn it back off, control H and there you go. You don’t see those anymore, control H again and you show them. It’s just kind of a quick way to show all the hidden files and folders in a directory.
