Hey guys, this time I just want to show you a neat site and the reason why I had found that site is from one of my subscribers called Lolido1 and he sent me a message, actually a lot of suggestions which are really great and I really appreciate it. Thank you so much. So anyway, it says here, “I found some sites that have lots of free games that are fun to play. Some people know these sites but I love some of the games they have. So I am recommending them to you.” So we have miniclip.com, addcitinggames.com, and armoredgames.com. So I’ll be featuring miniclip.com in this video and the other games from the other sites on my next video. So just watch out for those. I’ll just be featuring Sketch Star from miniclip in this video and again, thank you for the suggestion Lolido1. I really appreciate it.
So this is the site, this is from miniclip.com and it’s basically an online animation creator, so it’s really fun to create stuff with or just play with it and let’s get started.
So this is our workspace or editor and you have a bunch of options here like pencil or shapes. You can also choose your color, the stroke size, it’s a freehand or straight lines, I’m going to go with freehand. Undo, delete, clear, you can also add another frame for animation or you can copy your previous work to the next frame, we’d copy to the next frame. You can also set the duration to short, normal, long, very long. I’m just going to go with short, and this is frame one. It’s my first drawing. And you can also show your goals frame which basically traces your previous drawing so you know where to put it on your next frame. So there you go, they were sort of features and I’m just going to show you a quick example.
Okay, I’ll just give you a short demonstration so bear with me. I know you guys can do better, just take your time.
So if you’re satisfied with your first drawing we can add another frame or we can copy this one to the next frame. So if you add a blank frame—so if you add another frame, as you can see the colors changed because of your show ghost frame box is checked, basically traces your first drawing so you know where to add your other drawings as you are creating your animation. So I’m just going to delete this because I need this on my next frame, so copy to next frame, and I’m going to add in some characters. It’s tricky.
Okay, so I had just added some characters and we’re going to add a blank frame again.
And there we go. So if you’re satisfied with your frame or if you’re satisfied with your work then you can save it to their gallery there because Sketch Star will acknowledge you for your work, okay? And if you just want to see what you had done then just hit play and there’s my animation.
