How the hell on earth does this work? How of the dice stay in? Well it works through the property of matter called inertia. The property of manner whereby an object that rest remains at rest in an object in motion remains on motion unless acted upon by an outside force, In Layman’s terms nothing goes any where without being pushed. Here we have a dice at rest nothing is going to happen until I exert a force and pushed it. Of course, it is slow down and stopped by friction but if they were no friction it would just keep going forever this force of inertia is exactly what allows that dice stocking to work.
This is how it looks on the inside when I am inserting in the dice. To stay in through inertia notice from assuming out it is tilted and since the dice are moving this way there, inertia is going to keep the moving this way. When they hit the outside of the cup there going to be forced up because they are moving this way and the only things stopping them is the cup which is tilted outward and force system up. And then when I move back this way I am going to tilt the other direction for exactly the same reason, the dice were going to have momentum in this direction and then they are going to be forced up when they hit the side of the cup.
One will brought a thing is the equipment if you use just any dice and cup it might work, it might not but it depends on what you are using. First of all if you use in normal gaming dice they are probably work but they will be little harder you use. They are like, they are rounded and they tend to follow a follow all over it each other and bounce around. They do not stock up very well what I used, I used casino dice these are heavy 19 millimeters standard. I straight dice, they do not bounce too much of course they bounce as much as a die should. And the cheapest you can possibly get this on the internet is from the link in the side bar, so if you are wondering where to get this, the link in the side bar cheapest place on earth to get.
Now the cups are also pretty important, you probably familiar with this stocking cups but thought his has the same logo it is not made by the same company in fact this do not exist I made this look inside. This was an ordinary plastic smiley face cup and since I was going to be turning it over I did not want it to become a frown face and I put the cups on it. This sort of cup works great but it sort of flimsy tends to make a really awful noise when you rub it against a table and breaks pretty quickly. But the very, very important thing about speeds stacks if you cannot use them because if you look inside you see those ridges, those are meant to separate the cups out so that when you stacking them there is a lot of air flow through the middle and you can stock them without sticking.
It also knocks the dice all over the place they would not stock inside this beads stock come. So no good also any other cup with sort of ridge is like that probably would not work very well. Here are the basics in order to scoop the dice you come in from the side underneath the center of gravity so that they tilt in and go out then you tip it over the other side they captures at the side. So I am grouping on the outside of course I am just using my hands to put in. Grab it capture it and then you can bring it back and swing it. The landing is the really difficult part they are coming close to the table by five degrees from the table and then stop, like that.
The tempting thing is to lament as you can see that does not work very well, it might work once you tries. But it is on the whole not going to be very consistent but you really want to do is sort of drop them on the table if you have got casino dice you can sort of come in and not even touch the table with the cup.
