How to Start Using Blog with wordpress

This video series is going to show you how to setup a membership site using word press. Of course the first thing you are going to need is that the domain name and with that domain name you will hosting. You can get a domain name like somewhere like godaddy.com. And we have some places in the resource manual that shows you where you can get the domain name. You also need hosting and I suggest you get the next hosting with fantastic quo. Again there is a place in the resource book that we show you where you can get that.

Okay, once you have your domain name and your hosting camp setup. You need to setup a word press blog. And this is really easy to do if you got a host with fantastic quo in one click installation. So let us roll down until you see fantastic quo and click on that. Then click on word press and this is your install wizard. Then click on new installation and if you purchased domain name it is specifically for your membership site which you should in this case. You will not need not to put anything in the director here we are going to install a rate in a root. And so now it is asking you for add main user and add password.

Then down here a nick name for admin where you can put a nick name in there. Then add email address, and then you give it a name for your site. Then you should give a key word reach description here and I should probably do something better than write it but they suggest for demonstration purposes. Email account, user name and password. This is just for the incoming mail to the word press. The quickly install button and it tells you where it is going to put it. And it will create my I ask drill database for you so just click finish install.

And there you go so in this link here will take you to the admin area. And then you just consign in here. Alright, so there you are in your admin area. Very quick on this site and this is what it looks like now. Not really much to look at, at this point but we are going to fix setup and in the next video we will continue on in to modifying the site.
