This episode is for every woman who is got on the scale Monday morning and weight two pounds heavier than she did on Sunday. I hear this from a lot of clients, a lot of people. “Oh my gosh Steve, I so poorly yesterday, I got on the scale and I am two pounds heavier!”
I told them a number of things:
1. The food you ate yesterday is not making you heavy today. The food you ate yesterday is not going to make you fat today.
2. Stop feeling guilty about eating a little bit more than you normally do.
3. There is no way you ate 3,500 or 7,000 calories worth of food. If I lay that out of table, you would look at that and go, “Oh my gosh, there is no way I could eat that much food!”
4. Get prospective and get over real eating means. I show you 3,500 calories on the table? That is overeating.
A bold beningeries covered with chocolate syrup, followed by a pizza? That is over eating. A few extra bites here, a few extra bites there, that is not overeating so do not feel bad when you wake up a pound or two heavier.
So, where is this pound come from?
Many of foods we eat, most of foods we eat have sugars, salts, spices. All these things attract foods so when you wake up the next day a pound or two heavier, it is water. Do not worry about it. You will get rid of it. So keep that in mind. Do not feel guilty. Keep up a prospective on how much is overeating and do not worry, there is no way a woman has eating 3,500 or 7,000 calories above and beyond which she is normally eats in one day.
